Ideas for pokémon yu-gi-oh cards Empty Ideas for pokémon yu-gi-oh cards

Besides yu-gi-oh I'm also into competitive pokémon battling. One day I decided that I would try to combine the two and make pokemon yu-gi-oh cards.

Here is what I came up with:

This first one shows how the pokemons can use yu-gi-oh mechanics to evolve.

When the effect to halve the opponents attack is supposed to represent Growl.
Some starter pokemon rather gets something like leer or tail whip which would instead
    halve a monsters defense.
The fact that it immediately destroys earth(ground/rock)/water is due to it being a grass-type.

This is a rather interesting card. In competitive battling Wobbuffet has a scary ability
called Shadow Tag which prevents the opponents pokemon from switching.
The fact that the opponents monsters cannot leave the field means that they won't be able
to xyz/synchro/ritual/tribute/banish etc. with those monster as long as Wobbuffet's effect remains active.

While the last 3 effects are supposed to represent Encore/Mirror Coat/Counter respectively.

    What do you think? ^^

Wobbuffet's first 2 effects are sort of redundant. Just join the first 2 effects into 1 effect.
Also how did you make the bullet points??????

It's supposed to represent Wobbuffet's moveset.

it usually knows mirror coat and counter. The first which pays the opponent back double for any damage a special attack did to Wobbuffet, while the
second one does the same thing but for physical attacks.

Whichever you should use is meant to depend on the situation.

However I personally think Wobbuffet is rather OP, due to it's really high defense very few things can actually muscle through it. Effectively making the effect when the destroyed by battle rather useless. It's OP since quite a few decks are actually completely shut down by the card. Especially now when cards like Dark Hole and Fiendish chain (sometimes the only outs) sees even less play.

Which is funny because Wobbuffet was also OP in competitive pokemon and banned for 2 generations.

Example of a deck which would be completely pwnd by my Wobbuffet is the deck I often use in rated singles:

Here the only out Lantern, while it's otherwise completely walled.
